A badge has to work at its finished size, not only on a large screen. Share your artwork and the dimensions you have in mind so we can discuss a suitable direction.

What to include in your badge enquiry

• Purpose: troop identity, an event, an achievement or a keepsake.
• Artwork: your design file or reference, exact wording, year and colours.
• Size and shape: dimensions in millimetres, including the border.
• Quantity: the number required for each design or variation.
• Use: where the badge will be worn or attached; ask which finishes are available.
• Timing: the date you need the order in hand and the delivery destination.

Check the proof before you approve

Have one organiser confirm the final spelling, dates, colours, dimensions and version of the artwork. If a badge uses an organisation’s emblem, make sure you have permission to use it and have followed its artwork requirements.

Ask what the quotation includes and whether a sample is appropriate or available for your project. A digital proof helps you review the proposed design; clarify any physical sample arrangements separately.
